maroon 5 is an american pop rock band. The band consits of 5 members and first came together in 1994 while they were still in highschool. Thier first album they made was called we like digging and was self released in 1997. They also got signed the same year by Reprised Records.

the 5 band members are Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, James Valentine, Matt Flynn, PJ Morton and Sam Farrar.
